What does it take to build strong readers and writers? This session will explore the Phonological Awareness strand of Scarborough’s Reading Rope. We’ll focus on phonemic awareness and how evidence-aligned classroom practices can strengthen students’ early literacy skills. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of how phonemic awareness supports literacy development and strategies they can use right away in their classrooms.
