Christine Goodman is the Chief Operating Officer at The Reading League and the Finance Director for The Reading League Press. In her roles, she oversees financial operations, compliance, and organizational systems for both entities to ensure fiscal responsibility and transparency. Her work ensures strong internal controls and supports the organization’s mission and long-term sustainability.

Christine is a certified public accountant in New York State with more than 18 years of experience in national and regional accounting firms. Before joining The Reading League, she served for 11 years as finance and human resources director at Vera House, a Syracuse-based nonprofit organization, where she oversaw budgeting, compliance, and human resources functions.

Christine holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University.
