Toni Ann Walsh is the Chief Program Officer at The Reading League and the Managing Director for The Reading League Press. In her dual capacity, she leads programmatic strategy, operational alignment, and the publication of high-quality materials aligned with the science of reading to advance evidence-based literacy instruction nationwide.
Toni Ann also serves as Executive Producer of The Reading League’s Reading Buddies™, a show geared to preschool-grade 2 learners that supports their reading education through engaging storytelling, thoughtful content development, and collaboration with educators and creators.
Toni Ann brings over 20 years of experience in nonprofit development and management across the healthcare and anti-poverty sectors. She has led multimillion-dollar fundraising programs encompassing major gifts, workplace giving, grant writing, corporate partnerships, planned giving, direct mail, and large-scale events. Before joining The Reading League, she served as chief strategy officer at the Alzheimer’s Association, Central New York Chapter
Toni Ann is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and a recipient of the 40 Under 40 Award. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in commerce and marketing from Niagara University.
