The Reading League Summit 2027 will focus on Implementing Multi-Tiered Systems of Support — moving beyond what the research says to examine what it takes to change real systems.

Rather than choosing among multiple tracks, attendees will learn together in one shared room. Researcher-educator panels will surface the questions, tensions, evidence, and implementation realities that are often difficult to explore in a traditional conference format.

Sarah Brown

Sarah Brown, PhD, consults through her company, System Impact Consulting, and is co-author of the books Effective Universal Instruction and the best-selling book, MTSS for Reading Improvement. During her over 20-year career, she has served in roles including the Bureau Chief leading Special Education and MTSS for Iowa, district-level Special Education Director, Professional Learning leader, and School Psychologist. She also led customer education and MTSS within education technology companies. Dr. Brown is passionate about empowering systems to improve outcomes for every learner.

The 2027 Summit is focused on Implementing Multi-Tiered Systems of Support and the evidence, decisions, and systems needed to move from research into implementation.

The Summit is designed primarily for coaches, school and district leaders, higher education faculty, researchers, state leaders, multilingual learner specialists, and others responsible for systems-level literacy work. Classroom educators are also welcome.

The Summit is a focused, single-topic experience in one shared room. The Conference offers a broader three-day experience with multiple breakout sessions, topics, and learning paths.

Early Bird registration is $375 through January 1, 2027.

Regular registration is $475 beginning January 2.

Yes. Groups of 7 or more can register for $375 per person at any time.

Terms & Conditions of Group Registration:

  • Group registration pricing is available for organizations registering seven (7) or more attendees.
  • Customized group pricing applies to new registrations only and cannot be applied retroactively.
  • Previously completed registrations are not eligible for refunds, credits, or price adjustments under this offer.
  • All members of the group must register via the group registration process provided by The Reading League. Questions can be directed to events@thereadingleague.org
  • The Reading League reserves the right to modify or discontinue group registration pricing at any time.

Yes. Attend both 2027 events for $999 through March 1, 2027.

Summit and Conference Bundle Registration Terms & Conditions:

  • Full payment must be received 30 days prior to the Summit, or registrations for both events will be canceled. We encourage those paying via PO to work with their administrator to ensure timely payment.
  • Bundle pricing applies to new registrations only and cannot be applied retroactively.
  • Previously completed registrations are not eligible for refunds, credits, or price adjustments under this offer.
  • Registrations are non-refundable but can be transferred to another participant if necessary.
  • The Reading League reserves the right to modify or discontinue group registration pricing at any time.

Featured voices, panelists, and program details will be added as they are finalized.

The registration fee is $475.00.
