Educators often report that students have difficulty comprehending and composing lengthy texts. However, we often overlook whether or not students have the syntactic awareness necessary for proficient sentence-level comprehension and composition. During this session, participants will learn a variety of sentence-level learning tasks they can implement in conjunction with texts they are already using for instruction.
